Coming soon, Idou~

Sony Ericsson kicked of the MWC show a bit early today with a press conference for a slick new phone: The enigmatically named Idou.

With an OS based on Symbian, the Idou continues the camera phone megapixel pissing match with an impressive 12 megapixel camera/Xenon flash combo.

Once you snap those gorgeous cellphone photos, they'll be presented to you on a sizable 3.5-inch 16:9 touchscreen that Sony Ericsson claims is capable of "full media consumption" (so it eats all media? Interesting...).

Idou is just a codename for now, Sony claims, but the release window is certain: Second half of 2009. Did I say certain? I mean hazy and ambiguous, like all long-term tech release dates.

My desired phone~W705

Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of the W705 Walkman phone, a slider handset with a metal finish and a 2.4-inch screen.

The W705 gets Wi-Fi wih a YouTube app for video viewing, Bluetooth, 4GB memory card and Google Maps.

With Clear Bass, Clear Stereo and "premium" headphones, Sony Ericsson says the W705 "delivers a sound that has crystal clear clarity and is dynamic, rich and natural".

The W705 includes Walkman features such as the music recognition application TrackID and SensMe, as well as the Shake control to change tracks with the flick of your hand.

There's also a 3.2-megapixel camera, FM radio and auto rotation between vertical and horizontal modes by tilting the phone.

With the introduction of high Wi-Fi connectivity in this mobile phone, Sony Ericsson has really moved one step ahead for bringing a revolution in the mobile industry. This is the main purpose i want own it. This Wi-Fi technology facilitates to achieve high speed internet access almost everywhere whether you are in campus or are enjoying teatime in a cafe.

My next is "you"...

My rEceNtly pHonE S.E. S500

Sony Ericsson’s new born is Sony Ericsson S500 not in the series of walkman phone. This is Sony Ericsson’s first slider phone Sony Ericsson USA announced the release of the S500, a device derived largely from the W580 Walkman handset. This S500 is a candybar phone it has EDGE, GPRS, GSM network and have both polyphonic and MP3 ring tones. This Sony Ericsson S500 has been especially designed to hit the youth market of telecommunication with its significant features.

cracks of the keypad

I had that S500 after i lost my W800 last year and I enjoyed using a lot. The only thing with this phone is the keypad cracks easily even though I am not the sms person sort more on calls. I sent it to Sony centre for repairs and their customer service promise they will inform you whether you can send in for repair if the parts available or not. Love the video and music functions a lot and good clarity compared to other competitor music phone is a nuisance and music player is distorted like broken speaker. Nothing still beats SE phones.I don't mind and bought it to use for the matter due to no wifi, infrared and gprs.Unfortunately heard they already discontinue this model probably due to the fact of complaints of warranty repairs within 1yr and they have difficulties finding replacement parts for it unless you go for imitation parts from china which is huge difference and no longer have the smooth slide feelings.

Sony Ericsson W200~mY sParE PhOnE

Due to using extra telecommunication operator phone number, i bought a spare phone for this number. Budgeted and use able is my first choices to own it.

Sony Ericsson new budget Walkman handset, the W200, a classic bar-shaped mobile following the current Sony Ericsson design lines and will be styled in the Walkman colors in two classic color combinations - black and orange and white and orange. The Sony Ericsson W200 would sport a 65K colors UBC display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels and would weigh only 85 g. The device equipment will also be complemented by a VGA camera, a Memory Stick Micro card slot, and a FM radio. Connectivity features include tri-band GSM/GPRS support, an Infrared port, USB support, but unfortunately there would be no Bluetooth support.

Overall Sony Ericsson W200 is easy to use and suit the mobile phone fresher use. The important thing is its price is cheap(AP only RM250).

My First S.E. Phone~W800

I had a my first mobile phone since 15 years old( form3). At that time, i were using Nokia phone. I forgot the model which i used at that time. But i had used it for 2 year till year 2006.

This model is called W800. It looks young and fashion at that time. This is the reason i purchase it. It also got a powerful function, which is Walkman® player. Sony Ericsson had lead the mobile phone industry to provide more powerful music player for users. Sony Ericsson Walkman® phones bring the ease of digital music players to the mobile. So alongside all the usual advanced phone features, you can also download, stream, store and play back music in the mobile.

Since that time, Sony Ericsson Walkman® phones still is the leader of the music phone compare to other competitors music phone.
